Active monitoring

Leading web3 security firms actively monitor the Euler protocol across all the networks it is deployed to in order to swiftly detect potential threats. Depending on whether or not vaults have the appropriate access controls for pause and upgradability, one of two things will happen upon detection of a threat.

• For vaults with pause and upgrade functionality: In case of a threat, these vaults can be temporarily halted (read-only mode) and then upgraded to address the issue through a timelock mechanism.
• For immutable vaults: Users will receive immediate notifications upon threat detection and must implement their own emergency withdrawal strategies.
